Sherwood Forest Faire is a 25 acre medieval theme park located 35 miles east of Austin, Tx, USA. The Faire operates weekends in March and April every year. Patrons enjoy 150 shows per day including full contact jousting, falconry, sword fighting, juggling, under water escape, comedy, 10-12 live bands, theater, and much more. Sherwood hosts 170 artisans making glass, leather work, jewelry, clothing, hats, mugs, swords & armor, fine art, and more.

Join Robin Hood


Sherwood’s Robin Hood Players produce 5-7 short plays over the course of each Faire day, culminating in the famous Castle Siege at 5:30pm. The storyline advances each year of Faire through the cycle of King Richard’s reign 1189-1199. Robin Hood Players take pride in incorporating actual events and quotes from the time period and characters being portrayed.
